We love Kids!: New Fall Kids Inc Record Attendance 42!

Today was an exciting day in Kids Inc! First of all we set a NEW ATTENDANCE RECORD of 36 children and 6 leaders/guests, which = 42! YEAH! We are talking about a new virtue this month "Initiative" SEEING what needs to be done and doing it! - Can see......Can Do It! God wants us to have initiative like Nehemiah! As soon as he heard the distressing news about the situation of the people living in Jerusalem, he SAW the trouble they were in and (after much prayer) he decided to DO something about it! But it all began with SEEING! What an awesome story teller Bro. Sterling Lee was today, as he made the story come to life for the kids! We also had the kids draw a picture of a problem they SEE, that they would like GOD to help them with. The leaders watched as the kids were thinking and drawing . . . (you know sometimes you just wonder what they will draw, will they take it serious .... do they understand.....will they participate....etc). When they were done we asked the kids if anyone would like to share their picture with us and tell us the "problem" that they SEE? I was amazed as the kids raised their hands . . . not just one, but almost everyone of them wanted to share . . . and the boys and girls came forward and spoke into the microphone and shared with us the "problem" they SEE! Let me tell you it was all I could do to fight back the tears, my heart was so touched! Friends, our kids have some real issues that are concerning them! I then had them raise their pictures up above their heads and give it to GOD in prayer! They all repeated a prayer after me and and then spent a few minutes of praying on their own to God about their situations! I would like to ask you to join me in praying for these precious children and their situations . . . God may you hear the cries of your little ones!
As Your little ones left the Chapel this morning they were asked to really use their eyes to SEE . . . look to see how you need to treat others! SEE it and DO it this week! and If there is a job they SEE that needs done . . . they can DO it!! Parents, make sure to have some "GOD TIME" with your child this week! Have FUN and see you all next Sunday!
