We love Kids!: Sharing Your Faith!

"If someone asks you what you believe, what will you say? That's what we learned about today! We were teaching the kids to learn the important faith skill of articulating their faith, or telling others how they believe in Jesus. We learned today that Jesus wants us to be purposeful about sharing our faith in Him! It was so exciting as we made the Bible story of Phillip come alive today. (I encourage to look it up in Acts 8:26-39 and read it again as a family! You can even ask the kids to tell you the story!) Nicolas Cebey, played the part of the Ethiopian, Kayla Goldenberg played the part of Phillip, our Kids Inc Volunteer, Angela Lang played the part of the Angel of God and we also had a chariot and a horse in kids church today!! And I must say, a very FAST horse, it was hard for "Phillip"aka Kayla to keep up with! haha
God sent Phillip an angel to tell him to go to Gaza and told him what to say to an Ethiopian traveler. Philip explained God's Word to him in a way he could understand, and the Ethiopian understood and was so excited, he believed right then and he wanted to get baptized in water right away! So the next lake the came to the pulled the chariot over and Phillip baptized him! And then an angel of the Lord came again and whisked Phillip away! WOW how exciting was that! God wants us to share our faith too! Who are you going to tell about Jesus? See You Next Week!
