R U N . . . it to Finish it?

Our new monthly virtue is . . . Determination
which is deciding it's worth it to finish what you've started!
Our Memory Verse for the Month:  Hebrews 12:1  "Let us keep running the race marked out for us!"

First of all, I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Natalie, Carol, Sabrina, Natalie, Andrew and Jacob for making the story come to life!  Carol told the story and Natalie made a great Pharaoh and miss Natalie made the Plagues come to life!  YEAH  you guys were awesome!!  Thank You Andrew for being the best COMPUTER TECH, SOUND GUY EVER and thanks for mentoring Jacob!!

Today in Kids Church we told the story of Moses, and how God talked to him through a burning bush. He listened to God and decided to lead his people out of Egypt!  Moses didn't think he was really the guy to do it . . . but God told him that He would be right there with him!  So that's all he needed to hear to give him the determination he needed!  Moses did just that he left the dessert and went to Egypt and had a meeting with Pharaoh and said "Let my people go!"  and Pharaoh said NO!  and then Moses told him that God was going to send a plague if he said No! But Pharaoh said NO, and God sent a plague by turning the river into blood, and he still said NO! So God ended up sending 8 more plagues before Pharaoh finally told Moses, YES take your people and Go!  You can read all about it by turning in your Bible to EXODUS 3 (or clicking here)  All I can say about this story is WOW!  What an absolutely amazing moment that must have been! To see a burning bush, but not consumed!  And then Moses actually got to talk to God!  you can watch a little clip, we didn't get to show in Kids Church due to technical difficulties!  Hopefully it will work here! Enjoy!

The kids also picked new team names for the month!  We now have the ROAD RUNNERS, THE SONICS, and the HOT THUNDER teams!!  They picked the names all by themselves!  Make sure your child wears comfortable clothes and tennis shoes during this month, we will be having all kinds of fun activities!
